This Danco aerator screen fits inside a faucet retainer and is used as an alternative to a aerator. The screen aerates the water flow and helps save water. Without a screen, water would shoot out of the faucet as it does from a garden house in a single solid stream. Replacing worn out screen will keep the water flowing at an even aerated stream.
