Customer Responsibility:
Rented equipment is the responsibility of the customer until it is returned and accepted by Parkrose Hardware. In the case that the equipment is lost or damaged in any way, the customer will be charged the full replacement or repair cost in addition to the rental cost.

Deposit:
All customers are required to pre-pay for the rental when the equipment is picked up. We may require a pre-authorization on a credit card as well. If a customer has an in-store account and it is in good standing, the signers on that account may rent equipment with no deposit.

Delivery:
Delivery service is available. Rates vary according to size of equipment and delivery distance. Please contact the store for specific delivery charges. Some items have a delivery charge included in the rental rate.

Rates:
Monthly rental rates are available. Please call for a quote. Final costs should be verified by phone. Here is a list of our rental rates

2 Hour rate:

This rate is for items that are needed for only a short period of time like a thatcher. If customer keeps longer than 2 hrs, the rate prorates up to the 5 hour rate automatically.

5 Hour rate:

a half-day rate and equipment must be returned by closing. This rate is also the overnight rate. For the overnight rate, equipment can be picked up no more than one hour before closing, and must be returned no later than one hour after opening the following business day. If equipment is returned late, the normal rental rate will apply.

Day rate:

The day rate is equal up to 8 hours of use. Equipment must be returned within 24 hours of pickup time.

Week rate:

A week is equal to 7 actual days (up to 40 hours of use).

Month/4 Wks rate:

A month is equal to 4 weeks, or 28 days (up to 160 hours of use).

A cleaning fee will be charged if equipment is not returned clean.
