April 2019 Recipe of the Month: Baked Honey Glazed Ham

Recipe from Traeger

1 ready-to-eat ham (7 lbs)
1/4 c. whole cloves
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. smoked honey, at room temperature
1 stick butter, softened

Optional: Apple wood pellets

1. Set the Traeger to 325℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
2. Score ham. Smear the entire ham with softened butter and stud with the whole cloves and place ham in foil-lined pan.
3. Combine the dark corn syrup and honey. Warm to combine if needed.
4. Pour three-fourths of the glaze over ham, and bake for 1-1/2 to 2 hours on the grill or until the ham reaches 140℉.*
5. Baste ham every 15 to 20 minutes with remaining honey glaze.
6. Remove from grill, and let sit a few minutes. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
